Finally a cordless telephone designed for people with partial hearing loss.  This 900MHz telephone is not only designed with volume control, but also enhances the volume of the high-frequency sound.  This allows people to distinguish words that sound similar, like "chair" and "stair."  It also clarifies high pitch voices like women and children.

The W-400 is the newer model replacing the W-9001.  Parking the two model side by side one would only notice that the W-400 has an extra jack for an external  neck-loop (not included). However, the new W-400 has added a customizable extra loud ringer.
