For
anyone that subscribes voice mail service from
the phone company that gives you a stuttered dial
tone - this little gadget is for you! How many
times do you walk in the door and get caught up
in something before checking voice mail... then a
few hours later, your are informed that you have
missed an important call? Sound familiar to
anyone yet? One of the disadvantages of voice
mail over an answering machine: You have no way
of knowing that you have messages without
picking up the phone. As a result, you
forget to check - just once - and WHAM, next
thing you know, you're sharing space with the dog
in the back yard.
Seriously though,
it is a problem if not just an annoyance, but not
anymore!
Just hook this
little box up between a phone and the phone jack
It will "listen" to see if your dial
tone changes to stutter. If it does, then it will
blink to let you know about your new message.
Stick it on the phone, or on the wall, or you
could get a long enough cord and stick it right
in the entryway.
Actually, you can
plug it into any extension even without a phone.
It still works. Get two and put them in different
rooms. This is a nifty little gadget indeed!
Oh, and at risk
of sounding cliché, batteries (2 AAA) not
included.
