Williams Sound Personal PA® FM Wireless Listening Value Pack System

We are very enthusiastic about the new Value Pack System with the PPA R35 receivers.  These receivers are much quieter than the previous generation (PPA R7).  Two AA batteries are used rather than the more expensive 9V battery.  You can expect about 100 hours of use on a set of batteries.

This economical, versatile FM listening system is ideal for small to mid-size venues. The T17 transmitter connects directly to the sound system. Listeners wear stylized single-channel receivers to listen to the program clearly and easily. bypassing the background noise and poor room acoustics sometimes encountered in public facilities.

Alternative and Optional Headphones and Earphones

HED 008 is a heavy-duty, hearing-protector headset. The HED 008 earmuffs completely cover the ears and provide 24 dB noise isolation for hearing protection in high noise environments. Also useful if you need to isolate the loudness from people seated near you.

The EAR 022 Surround Earphone offers excellent sound quality in a unique style that hangs on the ear. It is easy to keep clean since the earphone does not enter the ear. It is not recommended for high noise environments.

The EAR 013 and EAR 014 are single and dual Mini Earphones. The earbud-style features a foam covering that fits in the outer ear. The foam pads can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Replacement pads (EAR 015-10) are available.

 This headphone is very similar to the previous generation of Williams Sound's Lightweight Headphone. It goes on the head a little easier in that it matters little which one headphone is on the left or right. The metal headband may be bent for a more perfect fit or re-bend as things loosen up.

The EAR 008 Wide Range Earphone hangs on the outside of ear. It swivels and allows some vertical adjustments for a perfect fit.  The foam pad can be removed for cleaning or replacement. Replacement pad (EAR 010) is available.

Our EP-1 Earphone is nearly identical to the Williams Sound EAR 022 above. In a side by side listening test I cannot say that one performed better than the other. Pictured here are two(2) earphones. The one on the left is showing the inside (towards the ear) while the one on the right is showing the outside. Because it does not fit tightly against the ear it is not recommended for high noise environments.
